Not God

You’re not God. Neither am I.

We know. But we don’t always know that we know.

And so we control. Frustration gets the best of us when we can’t control.

We assume. As if we know all or even enough about other people and what’s really happening in the world.

As much as we argue we don’t, we’re good at judging people. Well, we’re not, but we do a good job at our bad job.

We forgive, if it’s warranted enough. We can’t confetti grace people.

We don’t even make good gods out of ourselves.

You’re not God. Neither am I.
