Several months ago, I mentioned a cousin of mine in a sermon. I hadn’t planned to do that.
The message was about discipleship and learning the way of Jesus as a church. Compare that to how some preachers teach business and motivation techniques sprinkled with Jesus talk.
The comment I made was something like, I can walk with you in discovering how to follow Jesus. If you need marriage advice, dating advice, financial advice or anything like that, go talk to an expert in those fields. I have a cousin who has a You Tube channel on dating. Talk to her.
Funny story. That cousin has more than a You Tube channel now. She has a new television show coming on Bravo..
Before that, she was with Ryan Seacrest.
