As most of you know, I’ve been out of pocket lately.
I hope no one at church thinks I’ve been on vacation. Several months ago doctors diagnosed me with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. My diagnosis came after many weeks of symptoms that left me drained. There’s a lot more I could fill in for you, but we’ll save that for later.
Currently, I am in full remission, with three chemotherapy treatments left to complete. Thanks be to God.
I was fortunate to be granted a medical leave of absence. So, I’ve been away from the church for several months. I have an idea of when I’ll be back but I have yet to share that information.
Soon!
In the meantime, I’ve been playing with the website and taking a little time to do some things I never got around to before.
To the many of you that have prayed for me and my family or sent your well wishes, I thank God for you. This has been a somewhat challenging time for the Fletcher 5. Your love, though, has helped us carry the burden.
Stay blessed…john
